Outpatient Hours: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

Infusion Services

Infusion Services at SCCH provide outpatient care for patients requiring blood transfusions, or IV therapies, such as IV antibiotic treatments ordered as a series. Physicians may also order one-time treatments for patients including narcotic administration, enemas, or Foley catheter placement.

Infusion cubicles are equipped with comfortable, reclining chairs and flat screen televisions. Or, hospital beds are available to accommodate all infusion patients.

Because we recognize the importance of timely, flexible treatment so that infusion patients can return to normal activities as quickly as possible, staff is available for evening and weekend appointments.

For blood transfusions, arrangements will be made for blood typing prior to transfusion insuring that the appropriate blood type is available at the time of treatment.

Outpatient Surgery Services

The pre-surgery process can begin up to two weeks prior to surgery.

You will receive a call from an outpatient surgery nurse who will review your health history, give you detailed instructions for the day of your surgery, and answer any questions you have. Your arrival time will be given to you at this time. Prior to surgery,  if labs, EKG, chest x-ray or other testing is ordered, we would like you to come to the hospital and complete the testing process

The day of surgery you will report to the registration desk in the main lobby, if you are scheduled to arrive at 6:00 AM, report to registration in the ER waiting room.

What to bring the day of procedure:

  • Hospital insurance card
  • Picture identification
  • Order from your doctor (if provided to you)
